Parking

Greensboro Complex offers more than 6,000 on-site parking spaces, with fees ranging from $5 to $30. Some events include free parking. Pre-paid parking is not available; all parking fees must be paid upon entering the Complex parking lots. Cash, credit cards, and debit cards are accepted.

All on-site parking opens a minimum of 60 minutes prior to start of event and will remain staffed until 60 minutes after the event concludes.

Please be aware of the no-parking zones at all drop-off locations and adjacent to vehicle gates. Violators will be ticketed and towed if vehicles are left unattended or illegally parked on area roadways, medians, and private property, at their own expense. Greensboro Complex is not responsible for such violations.

Accessible Parking

Designated accessible parking is provided near the main entrance of all our venues. These spaces, which include van-accessible spots, are reserved for vehicles displaying a valid state-issued accessible parking placard or license plate.

During events, parking lot attendants are available to direct patrons to accessible parking spaces. Please make sure that your parking placard is clearly visible to the attendants.

Accessible parking spaces are subject to the same parking fees as general public parking spaces.

Overnight Parking

During specific multi-day events, the Greensboro Complex allows overnight parking for RVs. Due to limited space, it is recommended to make reservations well in advance. To apply for overnight RV parking, please fill out the Overnight RV Parking Form.

Parking Lot Amenities

Greensboro Complex parking lots offer several amenities, including Ray Harris Towing service vehicles that provide tire changing, tire inflation, jump starts and vehicle location services during major events.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Duke Energy funded the installation of two free Chargepoint electric vehicle charging stations in front of the Special Events Center, adjacent to the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

Tailgating

Guests are allowed to tailgate responsibly in the Coliseum parking lot. However, it is essential to comply with North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement statutes, which prohibit the consumption of liquor in public parking areas. Law enforcement may be present to enforce these regulations. Bringing alcoholic beverages into Coliseum facilities is not permitted, and no one under 21 is allowed to purchase or possess alcoholic beverages.

Tailgating is limited to the area directly behind or in front of your vehicle. Using empty spaces for tailgating or reserving additional spaces is not permitted. Each vehicle is limited to one stall.

When using charcoal, make sure to extinguish and dispose of it in the provided fireproof container or take it with you. Avoid dumping coals on the parking surface or in the landscaping.

Buses & Limousines

Space for oversized vehicles is limited. Vehicles exceeding 20 feet will incur charges for multiple spaces. Buses may be charged up to four times the posted rate, unless otherwise indicated, and limousines may be subject to twice the posted rate, unless otherwise indicated.

Oversized vehicle parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and tends to fill up quickly.

Prohibited Items in Parking Lots

The following items or activities are not permitted on Coliseum grounds:

  • Glass containers or bottles
  • Kegs
  • Open flame (unless in the approved tailgate area)
  • The consumption of alcoholic beverages by anyone under the age of 21
  • Liquor or fortified wine
  • Illegal drugs or gasses
  • The re-sale or distribution of commercial items
  • The sale or resale of event tickets
  • Ambush marketing

Parking at Piedmont Hall

Piedmont Hall shares a small, dedicated parking lot with the Greensboro Swarm offices. On event days, this parking lot is available for paid guest parking on a first-come, first-served basis (unless otherwise noted on the event's detail page on our website). This lot fills up quickly, and guests may be directed to park in the nearby main Complex parking lots when it reaches capacity.

Parking staff will be on-site to help guests find appropriate parking for their event.
