The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) men’s basketball program has called the Greensboro Coliseum home since the 2009-2010 season. The Spartans move to the Coliseum was made to increase the visibility of UNCG athletics, elevate the status of the athletics program and raise the university’s profile in the state and across the nation. The Spartans have thrived in the Coliseum with the program regularly eclipsing the 20-win regular season benchmark and routinely qualifying for post-season tournaments.
