White Oak Amphitheatre
Enjoy a wide variety of live music and the gorgeous weather of a North Carolina spring or summer evening at the Coliseum Complex’s outdoor White Oak Amphitheatre. Having opened in 2011 with a concert by the legendary group The Beach Boys and has gone on to host a diverse group of artists including including The Avett Brothers, The B-52’s, Charlie Wilson, Darius Rucker, Josh Groban, The Doobie Brothers, J. Cole, Earth, Wind & Fire and ZZ Top.
Note: Sliding down the grass hill is prohibited.
Weather
Permitted Items
A few items that would normally be prohibited at Greensboro Coliseum Complex events are permitted at White Oak Amphitheatre events only. All items are subject to inspection.
- Blankets
- Binoculars
- Telescopic umbrellas - no longer than 12" when compacted
- One (1) 20 oz. factory-sealed bottle of water

Bring Your Own Chair
Guests with General Admission (Lawn) tickets are allowed to bring their own chairs to White Oak Amphitheatre events, within the following guidelines.

Chair backs are not to exceed 32” in height measured from the ground to the top of the chair back.

Seat bottoms are not to exceed 9” measured from the ground to the chair seat cushion.
Rental Chairs
Lawn chairs are also available for rent for General Admission (Lawn) ticketholders for $10 per chair (subject to availability).
- Rental chairs may be rented upon entering the venue just inside entry gates at White Oak Amphitheatre.
- Rental chairs should be left on the lawn for pick-up by Coliseum Complex staff after the show concludes.
Smoking
White Oak Amphitheatre is a smoke-free environment in the seating areas, walkways, concourses, and landscaping.
There is a Designated Smoking Area on the Hanner Street Concourse, and smoking is only permitted within the areas marked by signs.
